Tetris2000

Tetris is a computer game originally invented and developed by Soviet programmer Alexey Pajitnov.

The game was released on June 6, 1984 — at that time, Pajitnov worked at the Computing Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

"Tetris" is a puzzle based on the use of geometric shapes "tetramino" — a variety of polyominoes consisting of four squares. Polyominoes in one form or another were used in board games and puzzles long before the creation of Tetris.
